I think it is important to enjoy life!
I was born in Edmonton, Alberta and lived here all my life. I am actively involved in my community, my local church congregation and my family. I am married, a father of 3 and love to be involved in the lives of my children.
Unfortunately, it is not always easy to enjoy life. As a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, I meet many people on a daily basis. Most of the people I meet are struggling with their finances. They are often discouraged and embarrassed about their present situation, and the stress often affects their lives, their health, and even their ability to sleep well. This is where I can help.
I have been working in the insolvency field since 1993. What I like best about my job is that I have an opportunity every day to help improve people’s lives. As I review each individual’s unique financial situation, I find it very rewarding to help my clients recognize that they aren’t alone and to offer them options that can immediately end the stress and help them return to a place where they can also enjoy life.

Financial missteps happen, debt builds slowly, and life can be unexpected. I know this and I’ve helped many individuals and local businesses to both recognize and find solutions to financial hardship. Whether it’s providing relief from debt to Canada Revenue Agency for income taxes or GST accounts, or restructuring high-interest credit cards, and lines of credit, I have had experience in working with debtors and their creditors to finds what works. Most importantly, I can help provide relief when there seems to be no other option.
After living in Toronto, Kelowna and Calgary, I choose to return home to Edmonton. Aided in my decision by being a devout supporter of the Edmonton Oilers, I believe that this city is a great place to raise my young family. In 2011, I decided to follow my father’s footsteps and become a Licenced Insolvency Trustee. After working in various fields during and after attending the University of Alberta, I determined that being a trustee was the best fit for me to deal with and help people on a daily basis.
I try to give back to this community by volunteering for various local organizations as well as for our professional association, CAIRP. Along with some close friends, I am a founding member of North of Lipsky, a group dedicated to raising funds and awareness for men’s health initiatives. North of Lipsky has been recognized as consistently being one of the top fundraisers by Movember Canada as well as Mayor Don Iveson for our support of the cause.
